My (Very Brief) Life Synopsis

Hello Blogger World,
It has been way too long...as always, I know. Guess what, I should have more free time now for reasons I will explain down below. Before that though, I think I should provide more information about myself. I've decided to give you my life synopsis...as of yet.

Here we go:

My name is Lorraine. I am a first-generation Armenian-American. I have an older brother, a younger sister, and two loving parents. Tomorrow, I will be turning 25 years old (I still can't believe this!). I have an Associate of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and as of last week, I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. I've been married to my high school sweetheart since I was barely 19 years old. His name is Thomas and he is my soulmate. Thomas and I have been together for about 8 years and this July, we will be married for 6 years. We have littermate border collies, Apollo (boy) and Angel (girl), that we've raised since they were 2 months. They are now 5 years old and are considered our little fur babies.

Thomas joined the United States Marine Corps right out of high school, it had been his desire to do so for a long time. I supported him from before he was shipped out to boot camp to even after his two deployments to Iraq. He is an amazing guy and makes me proud everyday. Those times were rough, though we did live in Oahu, Hawaii for about 2 1/2 years, so it had its pluses too. In 2010, Thomas finished his contract with the Marines and decided to go to school. He now attends a prestigious university here in California, majoring in Psychology. As for myself, I just finished school and am currently working in retail, but after my trip to Armenia this summer, I plan to aggressively search for a job more suiting of my capabilities. I still can't believe I am officially a graduate, with honors nonetheless.

Ever since I was a teenager, I knew I wanted to be a young mom, with the age 25 representing what I believe is my milestone year. With this in mind, I decided to take a year off before I apply to grad school, since as a clinical psychologist (my ultimate career), I will need a Doctorate degree, which will take at least another four years. During this free time, I plan to study for my graduate record exam, expand my family, and work on my social media sites [that means you guys ;) ]. I am at the beginning of what I hope to be an amazing year full of all sorts of changes and I can't even begin to explain how excited I am.

Though I did initially start this blog and my YouTube channel to talk about all my beauty related interests, I now plan to make it a blog about my life. Makeup and fashion do compose a huge chunk of my interests, but this just means you may see some posts on the decorating of the home we purchased in April 2012, my workout routine, or meals of the night, every once in awhile.

With Much Excitement of this Upcoming Year,
x Ms. Lorraine x
